Plain English: AI prose tends to emerge "from nowhere, addressed to no one, with no stake in its claims." Agency is systematically obscured; it reads as compulsively revised but never improvised — frictionless transitions, mathematically even cadence, uniform sentiment with no abrupt emotional modulation.

Fix: Anchor every passage in a specific consciousness with a stake (in fiction: the POV character's want, mood, history, and bias coloring every observation). Let sentiment lurch where a real mind would lurch. Allow friction, asymmetry, the unsmoothed edge.
