Consistency bible / story bible

← Craft Glossary · Series & Trilogy Architecture

Plain English: The maintained record of canon across the series — names, dates, rules, descriptions, who-knows-what-when — so book 3 doesn't contradict book 1.

Rule: Keep a single source of truth and consult it; in this project that's canon/ plus the StoryGraph, the two-layer timeline, and the set-piece ledger, enforced by the gate.

Fail: Drift — an eye color, a death, a travel-time, a capability that changes between volumes because no one kept the ledger.
