Plain English: Forward momentum — the sense that the story is pulling you. A propulsive book never lets you set it down. In a cinematic adventure, velocity is sacred.

In this project: Protected even by the editorial gatekeeper — it will reject an edit that made the prose "better" but smothered the momentum.
