Plain English: A rhetorical pattern: "It wasn't fear. It was recognition." Negate one thing, assert another. Powerful once — a tic when overused, because it becomes the LLM's default way of sounding deep.

In this project: Capped deliberately (target ~8–10 across the whole trilogy); whole skills exist to hunt and thin them.
