Coda

← Craft Glossary · Structure & Story

Plain English: A short closing passage after the climax — the final chord, the "and afterward…" that gives a sense of rest. (Italian for "tail".)

In this project: RELIC's Light That Remains coda. A recurring craft note warns against a coda that re-explains the theme one last time instead of just closing.
